1. How to Request Deletion
To request deletion of your personal data, send an email from the email address associated with your NhanEX account to support@nhanex.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request".
Please include the following in your request:
- The email address on your NhanEX account
- If you signed in with Facebook, the Facebook account (name or email) used to sign in
- Your full name, so we can locate your account
We will verify your identity before processing any deletion request, to prevent unauthorized deletion of another person's data.
2. Response Time
We acknowledge receipt of your deletion request within 5 business days, and complete eligible deletions within 30 days of that acknowledgment.
3. What We Can and Cannot Delete
What We Delete
Upon a verified request, we delete or de-identify:
- Marketing data, such as your communication preferences and promotional contact history
- Saved recipients on your account
- Account profile data not required for recordkeeping, such as your profile photo and saved preferences
- Your Facebook login connection, if you signed in with Facebook
What We Cannot Delete
As a licensed Money Services Business, NhanEX is legally required to retain completed transaction records and related identity-verification (KYC) records for the period required under the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and applicable U.S. money-transmitter recordkeeping rules — currently a minimum of five years from the date of the transaction or account closure.
Because of this legal obligation, a deletion request cannot remove your completed transaction records, associated identity-verification documents, or any information we are required to retain to comply with anti-money-laundering (AML) law, sanctions screening, or other regulatory requirements — even if you close your account. This retained information is kept solely for legal compliance and is not used for marketing.
